LIFE'S LESSONS

    As all of us go through life, we encounter times when the Lord has placed before us either a test or a great opportunity for a life lesson.  After much tribulation and sometimes great suffering, many of us write these down to share and to edify others.  My daughters and I have found it an exciting challenge to put these into words.  It is not always easy as many of these are of a personal nature, but because we know there are those who are facing the same challenges, we felt it was necessary to communicate what we have learned in hope that it will give that person the ability to persevere through that short time of learning and possibly suffering.  

1 Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 12:26  And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.

2 Corinthians 1:6  And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

2 Timothy 2:12  If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us...

Hebrews 11:25  
Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season...

Romans 5:3  And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience...

Romans 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Romans 12:12  Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer...
