KATHIE'S HOW-TOs

One of my favorite things to do is learn something new.  I'm not the kind of person who can just sit around waiting for the proverbial moss to grow under me.  I want to enjoy life to its fullest and find "new" in each day.   That means, pull out the books, hit the Internet, head for the library, ask questions of friends, neighbors, and anyone who has a minute.

Listed below are some of the skills I decided were worth my time and energy.  I am very grateful to those who were kind and helped me through my learning journeys.

Also, many of these are fun life-skills to teach children.  For those who homeschool, you can turn several of these into "unit" studies.
