CREAM
CHEESE FROSTING
Regular and Chocolate
Regular~
Ingredients:
1 8-oz. package organic cream cheese
1/4 cup butter, organic
3 Tbls. honey
2 tsp. vanilla extract (not flavoring)
How to:
Cream the above ingredients until fluffy. To thin, use a small amount of milk.
For decorating, mix ingredients just until mixed and refrigerate until thick
enough to work into decorations.
Chocolate~
Ingredients:
Add the following -
½ to 3/4 cup Cloud Nine Chocolate Chips (or other health food store non-sugar
brand)
½ tsp almond extract
How to:
Melt chips in the top of a double boiler.
Pour chocolate into regular cream cheese frosting while mixer is at medium speed
and mix until fluffy.
Frost cake.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
To judge quantity of frosting to mix:
Original recipe = 1 bundt or 9" cake
Original x 2 recipes = 9 x 13 pan or 3 layer 9 "
Original x 3 recipes = larger cakes
Regular cream cheese recipe is great for carrot cakes!
