KATHIE’S
FAVORITE
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Ingredients:
WET:
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, organic (no substitutes)
1 egg
1 Tbls. vanilla extract (not flavoring)
DRY:
¾ cup Sucanat
1 cup freshly-ground soft white wheat pastry flour, fine grind
½ tsp salt (Real or Celtic Sea Salt)
½ tsp baking SODA
6 oz. chocolate chips (Cloud Nine or Sunspire - health food store)
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
How to:
1. In mixer: Mix all wet ingredients.
2. Mix together all dry ingredients except chocolate chips and nuts. Then
add to wet
ingredients.
3. Add chocolate chips and nuts.
4. Place on cookie sheet by heaping teaspoonfuls.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
6. Cool on cooling racks.
