TROPICAL MANGO DELIGHT BREAD
Makes 1
loafIngredients:
1 package of yeast or 1 scant Tbls. Yeast
3 cups whole wheat flour (made from hard white wheat grain)
1/2 tsp. salt (Real or Celtic brands)
3-4 Tbls. honey (or 4 T. Sucanat)
1 egg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ground
3/4 cup mango puree, slightly warm
1 Tbls. butter, room temperature
1/2 cup fruit juice, warm (citrus or fruit punch not recommended)
How to:
Use a blender to puree mango.
Put all ingredients into bread machine pan in order listed for your machine.
Select "white" bread and push "start."
This recipe is great with chicken salad!
EASY MANGO NUT CREAM
Ingredients:
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, organic, room temperature
1/2 cup mango puree
1/2 cup walnuts, minced
How to:
Stir cream cheese and mango puree until thoroughly mixed.
Place nuts on wax paper.
Put mango-cheese mixture on top of nuts and roll around to coat.
Refrigerate to solidify.
Serve with the Tropical Bread!
