CREAM OF RICE CEREALS

CREAM OF WHEAT

Makes 6 - ½ cup servings

Ingredients:

1 cup freshly-ground wheat, a little coarser than for bread
3 cups boiling water

How to:

Add wheat slowly to boiling water, stirring briskly with a whisk.
Cook on simmer for approximately 8 minutes, stirring every few minutes to prevent sticking.

CREAM OF RICE

Substitute the same amount of freshly-ground rice for wheat.
Cook the same as for wheat.
