WONTON RECIPE 1:

Ingredients for Turkey, beef or chicken:
(enough for approximately 30 wontons at ½ tsp. each)

½ lb. ground turkey, chicken or beef (use best quality–you can grind or mince)
1 heaping Tbls. scallions, minced
1 tsp. garlic, crushed
2 Tbls. fermented soy sauce
1/4 cup bean sprouts (mixed variety or alfalfa) or finely chopped cabbage & or carrots
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 Tbls. fresh ginger, minced
2 Tbls. minced onion
1 Tbls. sesame oil or olive oil

Option: minced water chestnuts

WONTON RECIPE 2:

Ingredients for smoked Nova or Lox & Cream Cheese:
(enough for approximately 20 wontons at ½ tsp. each)

1/4 lb. Nova or lox, minced
4 oz. cream cheese, organic (don’t use low or no fat cheese)
1 heaping Tbls. scallions, minced
1 Tbls. honey

Other Ingredients you will need:

1 pkg. Wonton shells (we use Azumaya round or square pasta wraps–usually found in produce department of groceries)
olive oil for frying

Instructions for each type of wonton:

Mix all ingredients together for your choice of wonton.

Use wonton shells as described on package.

Do not use more than ½ tsp. stuffing for each wonton or it will squeeze out and make a messy wonton, which could cause excessive splattering when fried

Fry until crispy and nicely browned.
If using raw meat, slow the cooking process a bit to be sure the inside of the wonton is thoroughly cooked.

These can be reheated.
