KATHIE'S FRESH SALSA

Ingredients:

1 - 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes and 2 fresh tomatoes, cubed
1 large stalk celery, minced
1 small onion, minced
1/4 piece bell pepper, minced
1 medium jalapeno pepper, minced (for HOT, use 1 large pepper)
1-2 cloves garlic, minced (powdered may be substituted)
salt & black pepper to taste
1 tsp. chili powder
1 Tbls. cilantro leaves, chopped

If you do not wish to chop, a food processor is an excellent way to prepare veggies and jalapeno pepper.

How to:

In a food processor, place celery, onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, garlic in machine and chop.
Remove to a separate bowl.
Mix all ingredients together.
Serve immediately or store in refrigerator in glass jar.
Experiment by adding lime or lemon juice, green chilies, etc.
